This is a Volkswagen camper made by Westfalia, a German company that also build trailers, this particular model is based on a late baywndows bus or Type 2 like are also known, since was originaly exported to Venezuela it is a little different from others, the engine is the same of the Beetle, a Type 1 dual port heads, disck brakes in the front, no servo assisted.

The original color was Pastle White, but some previos owner painted whit a wahite/yellow scheme, after the years and many owners she finaly arraive to my hands, I didi a ligth restoration back in 2001, and painted in Chromed Yellow that was used in the yellow buses of the same period, redo the carpets, top canvas, new tyres and sound system, by now is my daily driving

This canvas was made using the original one as a pattern, I took the old one carfylly undo the sews washed and ironed, then I made some pattern with cardboard that I used to draw the canvas. After a fine cuting process I tooked to an upholstery shop when they charged me less than for sewing, the canvas was a leftover of my boat canopie that I also use in the bus. The result is amazig when you do the job with a lot of care and love, a friend of mine said that my canvas is batter than his and he paid about .
